Video Widgets are used most frequently on Brand Pages (How to Create a Brand / Brand Page) and Product Pages (How to Create an Item (Product) Page). 


Follow these instructions to see how a Widget is created and how to connect it to a Brand or Product so that it appears on the Brand or Product Page. 


Steps: 


1. Go to CMS à Widgets. 


2. Click on "Add New Widget Instance". 


3. Select "Video Widget" as the Type and "beautybox_v3 / [CountryCode]" as the Design Package/Theme. Then click on "Continue".


Frontend Properties

1. Set Widget Instance Title to whatever you want (it's used only internally, but choose a name that explains the video).

2. Set the order in which the Widget will appear by typing in a number in Sort Order (1 = first widget, 2 = second widget, etc.) 


Under the Layout Updates section, you can set where the Widget will appear.

1. From the Display On drop-down menu:

     a. Select "Simple Product" for Product Pages.

     b. Select “All/Specified Brands” for Brand Pages.


2. 

a. If you are adding the Widget to a Brand Page, check the “Specific Brands” option from the Brands area. Then choose the Brand you would like the Widget to be visible on. 


b. If you are adding the Widget to a Product Page, check the "Specific Products" option from the Products area. Then choose the Product you would like the Widget to be visible on. 


3. Select how you would like the Widget to appear on the page from the Block Reference drop-down menu. 

Note: For Brand Pages, select “Before Products List”.  


Once this is completed, the Widget will be able to show up on the selected Brand or Product Page. 

Widget Options
1. Enter a title for the Video Widget in the Headline of video widget section. 
2. Enter the YouTube-Hash in the Video URL section. 
Note: Do not enter the whole YouTube URL. Only enter the end part after watch?v=
For example, type in s8DjzEIwcW8 for the Benefit video. 



Click on the Save button in the top-right corner.

Once completed and saved, the screenshot below is what the Video Widget will look like on the Brand Page Benefit (Brand ID: 451).
