A Category page would be created in cases such as having a Special Edition box.


1. Go to Catalog à Manage Categories. 


This page will automatically appear: 



General Information

1. Name the Subcategory in the Name section.

2. Activate the category by selecting “Yes” from the Is Active drop-down menu.

3. Type the URL key in the URL Key section.

4. The headline of the category will appear in the Short Description box. 

5. Choose the image that will appear in the background in the Thumbnail Image section.
The image should be 150 X 150.
Ideally, it will be in a Transparent PNG format.

6. Type a description of the category in the Description box.


7. Choose a background image by selecting a file in the Image section.


Display Settings

Next, you must anchor the category in order to ensure the Widgets are connected.


1. Click on the Display Settings tab.

2. Choose “Yes” from the Is Anchor drop-down menu. 


Brand Sliders

For your information, the Brand Slider is automatically enabled. This cannot be changed.



Category Products

Next, you must add the Offer Product (or Offer Products) to the Category.


To create an Offer Product, follow the instructions provided in How to Create a New Offer. 


Otherwise, if the Offer Product is already created, proceed with these instructions: 


1. Go to the Category Products tab. 


2. Search for the Offer Product that will be connected to the Category. You can search for it by:

    a. the Search bar 

    

     

    b. Click the Reset Filter button and select the Offer(s) by clicking the  box(es). 

Note: The Offer Product must be Enabled and Visible as Catalogue, Search in order for it to be visible on the Category Page.
