You can use Voucher Codes to apply Promotional Discounts on boxes and/or for specific customers. 


Through out the creation process, you can click the Save and Continue Edit button in the top-right corner. 


Steps:


1. Go to Promotions à Shopping Cart Price Rules

2. Click on the Add New Rule button in the top-right corner.


Rule Information

1. Create a Rule Name.

2. Create a Description, if needed.

3. Add a message to be seen at checkout in the Checkout Text Field.

4. Ensure the Status is “Active”.

5. Select both “NOT LOGGED IN” and “General” (click Ctrl on your keyboard to select both) from the Customer Groups section. 


6. Select “Specific Coupon” from the Coupon drop-down menu.

7. Enter the Coupon Code 


Format: 10 digits with numbers and UPPERCASE LETTERS. i.e. P123E456784

8. Under the Uses per Coupon section, you can:
a. Leave it blank if it will be the same code for all users
b. Enter “1” if each user has a separate code

9. Set the Uses per Customer. A general rule is “1”.

10. You can limit the time the voucher can be used by filling out the From Date and To Date sections. 

11. Set the Public in RSS Feed to “No”.


Conditions

1. Set your desired conditions by pressing on the button. 

    A drop-down menu will appear for you to choose a condition. 

2. Choose “Product attribute combination.” Another level will appear. 

3.  Click on the button again to select the Product Attribute.

     a. Choose “Vertical” under “Product Attribute” to set the code for certain types of boxes.

          i. Click on the three dots to select the type of box. 

     b. Choose “SKU” under “Product Attribute” to set the code for certain SKUs.

          i. Click on the three dots


Note: If you want to choose more than 1 Offer to link the voucher code to, you must select “is one of” by clicking on to access the drop-down menu. 

               

Action

1. Select how the discount will be applied from the Apply drop-down menu. For example, you can choose “Percent of product price discount”.

2. Indicate the Discount Amount.

3. Ignore the Apply the rule only to cart items matching the following conditions (leave blank for all items).


How to set the coupon so it works for multiple orders in a subscription


4. Under Additional Actions, click on the button and select “Apply this coupon to the rest recurring orders” from the drop-down menu that appeared.

a. Keep “the rest recurring orders” if you want the coupon to be valid for all future boxes the customer purchases. This coupon will be used for each order that the customers profile got, as long as the customer didn't cancel their subscription 

b. Click on “the rest recurring orders” and change it to “the number of charges” if you want the coupon to be adjustable. The number you are setting here is excluding the checkout procedure.
Example: If a coupon should be append 3 times in a subcription in total, you have to set "
 “the number of charges is 2".
One for the coupon itselfs in the checkout and two for further generated orders in the chargerun.
