Example: Test Box.Paula

The associated Offer Product is Test Offer.Paula. 


Through out the creation process, you can click the Save and Continue Edit button in the top-right corner.

Initial Steps


1. Go to Catalog => Manage Products and click on Add Product button in the top-right.


2. Select “Box” from the Attribute Set drop-down menu.

3. Select “Box Product” from the Product Type drop-down menu.

4. Select the Continue button.



General

1. In the Name section, type the name of the Box. 


2. In the Description section, type the description of the Offer. 


3. In the Short Description section, type a short description. 




4. In the Article ID section, name the Box Product using template (see offer product and box product naming convention).


5. Select “Enabled” from the Status drop-down menu.

6. Select “Catalog, Search” from the Visibility drop-down menu.

7. Select the appropriate option from the Vertical drop-down menu. (ex.: if it is a part of the Glossy box, choose “Glossy”) 


Prices


1. In the Price section, indicate the price of the box. (Note: The price will be automatically set to the currency in which country you are working in).


2. Select the appropriate tax class from the Tax Class section. 


Images

If you’d like to add an image for the Box Product, add it here. 

Note: if a Box Image is uploaded, it will replace the Offer Image.

1. Select the Browse Files… button. 


2. Select a photo. 


3. Select the Upload Files button. 



4. Hover the mouse over the "Roll Over for Preview" section (under the Image column). You will then see the image appear. Choose the appropriate settings. 


Box Options

1. Set the year of the box by choosing a year from the Box Year drop-down menu.


2. Set the month of the box by choosing a month from the Months drop-down menu.

3. Select the date the box will be available until from the Box Available Until drop-down menu.

4. Select an estimated delivery date from the Estimated Delivery Date drop-down menu.

Note: Each country has a set “range of days for delivery.” For instance, the range for US is +/- 6 days. Therefore, if the Estimated Delivery Date is set for 11/18/15, the customer will be notified that they will receive their box between 11/12/15 and 11/24/15 at Checkout.


Inventory

1. 

a. Ensure “Yes” is selected from the Manage Stock drop-down menu and

b. the  box “Use Config Settings” is checked.

2. Set the quantity of boxes available by typing in the number in the Qty section.

3. Set your desired preferences for the box.

4. Ensure “In Stock” is selected from the Stock Availability drop-down menu.

Categories

Set the same Category (or Categories) as indicated in the associated Offer Category (or Categories).

For instance, the associated Offer Category for Test Offer.Paula is "Beauty," therefore the "Beauty" category must be chosen in Test Box.Paula.


Associated Offers

Set the associated Offer Product.

1. If the Offer(s) is not visible, click on the Reset Filter button.

2. When the Offer(s) is visible, select the associated Offer (or Offers) by checking the box(es).
